Karachi: Sindh Rangers and Police arrested the most wanted accused of Lyari gang involved in drug supply, extortion, blackmailing, kidnapping for ransom, robbery and other crimes in a joint operation near Yusuf Goth Bus Terminal.
According to the details, Sindh Rangers and Police conducted a joint operation near Yusuf Goth Bus Terminal based on intelligence information and arrested Bilal, the most wanted accused of Lyari gang and recovered 51 grams of hashish, mobile phone and cash from his possession.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the arrested accused is Kashif Dadaka, a notorious drug dealer and active gang commander of the Lyari gang war. The arrested accused has confessed to being involved in drug supply, extortion, blackmailing calls, kidnapping for ransom, robbery and other crimes in different areas of the city at the behest of Kashif Dada. The arrested suspect had gone into hiding in Iran to avoid arrest in the past.
According to the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused further disclosed that the accused used to buy and sell illegal arms to the robbery gang as well as provide them on rent. FIRs have also been filed against the arrested accused in several police stations, while the accused has been arrested and jailed before. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused. The arrested accused has been handed over to the police for further legal action including drugs and stolen goods.
