Islamabad: Justice Muneeb Akhtar took oath as the Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Justice Yahya Afridi administered the oath as Acting Chief Justice to Justice Muneeb Akhtar. The media was not allowed to cover the swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Supreme Court judges and senior lawyers participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
It should be noted that Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will be on a foreign visit from May 18 to 25.
