Islamabad: A delegation of a Chinese company has met the Prime Minister, expressing interest in investing in the mining sector.

In a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office Press Wing, it is said that the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is being trusted by foreign investors, as a result of which the Chinese company has expanded its investment in Pakistan. Has expressed deep interest.

A delegation of Chinese company MCC Tongsin Resources, led by Chairman Wang Jaicheng, met Shahbaz Sharif in the federal capital, in which the company is involved in the mineral and mining sector in Pakistan. Keen interest was expressed in increasing their investment.

The company gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister regarding the construction of a mineral park in Pakistan and informed about the further investment plan. The Prime Minister welcomed the Chinese company and said that the government is taking steps on priority basis to increase foreign investment in the country. He said that China is a long time friend of Pakistan and an important partner in development.

The Prime Minister said that China has helped Pakistan in every bad time, for which the entire nation, including me, is grateful to the Chinese leadership and the Chinese people. The Prime Minister invited the Chinese company to invest in the mineral sector in Pakistan from mining to manufacturing of export goods and said that to increase Pakistan’s exports, extraction of minerals, their processing and export of their products. Investments will be fully facilitated.

The Prime Minister also directed the relevant federal ministers and officers to consult with the Chinese company and involve the Chief Minister of Balochistan and relevant institutions and stakeholders of the province in the consultation process. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema, Dr. Mossadegh Malik, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Jam Kamal Khan and relevant senior officials.
