Peshawar: Unidentified persons blew up a girls’ school in Wana Dubkot area of Lower South Waziristan.
According to sources, the blast took place inside Wawa Girls School, Sarkikot. No one was injured in the explosion, but the school building was damaged. A private school for girls in North Waziristan was also bombed last week.

On the other hand, on receiving information about the expected terrorist action in DI Khan, the police raided Azam Warsak Bazar and arrested 2 shopkeepers who were selling weapons, while one managed to escape. Smugglers were also caught with arms and illegal ammunition.
A large number of guns, pistols, bullets and explosives were recovered from the arrested persons. Further investigation is underway
