According to officials, Additional Director FIA Cyber Crime Cell Abdul Rauf started an inquiry on the reports of harassment of female teachers by the government officials posted in Education Department, Lucky Marwat, and then the shocking revelations came out.
FIA Cyber Crime Cell Rawalpindi team arrested two accused Arif Iqbal and Khalid Faraz in a raid in Lucky Marwat.
The officials said that the accused Arif Iqbal is posted as a superintendent in the education department of Lucky Marwat. The arrested accused used to sexually harass female teachers and threatened to transfer them to distant areas under the guise of objectionable material.
The accused also shared the objectionable data of the victims on WhatsApp. 3 mobile phones and objectionable photos and videos were recovered from the accused. According to FIA officials, several other victims have contacted Cyber Crime Circle Rawalpindi to record statements against the accused.
The accused were harassing the female teachers for the past several months and demanded money from them by blackmailing them in the guise of pictures and videos. The accused were arrested from Lucky Marwat using the latest technology and a case was registered.
The scope of the investigation has also been widened with respect to the investigation of other officers of the Education Department Lucky Marwat.
Officials said that the accused involved in illegal activities under the guise of overstepping their authority will be brought to book and the accused will be punished according to the law.
