Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to challenge the terrorism section in the May 9 cases.

Tehreek-e-Insaf legal team head Faisal Malik Advocate said in a media talk that according to the observations of the Supreme Court and the High Court and the available evidence, applications are being filed to remove Section 7 ATA of terrorism from all cases of May 9.

PTI’s counsel further said that the terrorism provisions will be challenged in the May 29 hearing. Terrorism provisions have been questioned in Supreme Court and High Court Rawalpindi bail decisions.
