Islamabad: The federal capital police has launched the facility of providing driving license to the citizens at their doorstep using modern technology.
In the light of the instructions of IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and SSP Traffic Sarfraz Work, three vehicles equipped with the latest facilities have been prepared to facilitate the renewal of driving license, learner permit, replacement license.
These vehicles are equipped with two counters modern laptop UPS backup generator print system.
Special federal educational institutions, colleges, universities, public parks and people with physical disabilities as well as people over 70 years of age have been given the facility to issue driving licenses.
Yesterday, Islamabad Traffic Police officers Imran and Fawad in the Driving Facilitation Center van assisted the citizens near Abpara Market, in which a large number of citizens produced their licenses.
The citizens said that the people are benefiting from the opening of this facility in Islamabad, the authorities should increase the number of vehicles of these facility centers.
Talking to Express, he said that this facility should be further improved and facility should be provided in mosques, hospitals and district court.
Islamabad Traffic Police PRO Mohammad Nawis said that along with further improvement of the facility, public awareness programs will be started among the citizens.
