Karachi: 2 robbers were killed and one seriously injured due to the violence of citizens fed up with street crime in Shahr Quaid.
In Orangi Town near Shah Faisal Chowk, 2 dacoits were fleeing after looting a furniture shop when the shopkeeper opened fire on the dacoits with his pistol, as a result of which both dacoits were seriously injured.
Meanwhile, the citizens around surrounded them and started torturing the dacoits, one dacoit was killed on the spot while the other dacoit was arrested by the police.
The dead and injured dacoits were immediately transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the seriously injured dacoit is said to be in serious condition.
SHO Pakistan Bazar Imam Bakhsh Lashari told Express that 2 nine mm spatulas, stolen mobile phones, cash and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the robbers.

On the other hand, a dacoit who was seriously injured by the violence of citizens near Kopak Colony police station area, Pranagoli Marchman Seemna, died in Civil Hospital during treatment. The dacoit was identified as Saifullah son of Rehmat.
The deceased dacoit was a resident of Kutti Pahari town colony, SHO Pak Colony Khalid Mehmood said that the deceased dacoit and his two accomplices were fleeing after looting from the citizens, that one dacoit fell into the hands of the citizens while two dacoits escaped from the spot.
The arrested dacoits were subjected to the worst violence by the enraged citizens, after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and the injured dacoit was immediately shifted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.
