Karachi: In Sindh, only 34% of the development budget could be spent in 10 months of the current fiscal year 2023-24.
According to the Finance Department document, 5256 development projects were planned in the current financial year, out of which 3311 projects are incomplete and 1945 projects are new.
3 trillion 85 billion 50 crore rupees have been allocated for these development projects, during 10 months, 2 trillion 14 billion 67 crore 90 lakh rupees have been released in the development budget, but one trillion 67 billion 76 crore 10 lakh rupees have been released out of this amount. Rs have been spent which is 34%.
Out of the development budget issued in this way, one trillion 70 billion 82 crore 10 lakh rupees is still left, so one trillion 67 billion 76 crore 10 lakh rupees can be spent in 10 months out of the development budget of 3 trillion 85 billion 50 crore rupees. are
There are 2 months left for the end of this financial year and in these 2 months the government has to spend 2 trillion 17 billion 73 crore 39 lakh rupees.
