The next swearing-in ceremony will be held on May 7 at 6 pm
Lahore: The swearing-in ceremony of Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider has been postponed.
People’s Party leader-designate Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider was supposed to take oath at 6 pm today. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Shahzad Khan was to take oath of office from the new governor.
General Secretary People’s Party Punjab Syed Hasan Murtaza says that the swearing-in ceremony of the new governor has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The next swearing-in ceremony will be held on May 7 at 6 pm.
It should be noted that President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the appointment of governors of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
