Peshawar: Pakistan People’s Party leader Faisal Karim Kundi took oath as the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur did not participate in the ceremony.
According to details, the swearing-in ceremony was held at the Governor’s House where Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim administered the oath of office to Faisal Karim Kundi as Governor.
Top officials, secretaries, PP workers participated in the swearing in ceremony while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur did not participate in the swearing in ceremony.
As soon as Faisal Karim Kundi took oath, the PP workers in the venue raised slogans in favor of Jai Bhutto and Benazir.
Speaking to the media after the swearing in, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that I am thankful to the party chairman and president Asif Zardari, because of the trust of the party, Jayala governor has come to the province.
He said that I will play the role of a bridge between the center and the province, we do not want confrontation between the province and the center and will go to all parties to end the financial crisis.
Faisal Karim Kundi invited the provincial government to walk together and said that let’s fight together for the province and give it rights by fighting a common war.
On the question of Ali Amin Gandapur’s non-participation, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that the Chief Minister may have been busy that he did not come, but now he is invited to come and go with Milkar.
