California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp is soon going to introduce a feature that will suggest users which contacts they can chat with.
According to WhatsApp beta info, the feature will display a list of people who have been online recently.
According to the website, this move is part of a major change aimed at ‘suggest contact to chat with’. This feature will help users to start a conversation with people in their contacts that they have never talked to.
However, the new changes have added an option to see which contact has been online recently.
According to WhatsApp Beta Info, the feature update was spotted in the Android and iOS beta versions of WhatsApp.
In the trial version, not everyone who is currently online is shown, but only those who have been online recently.
It should be noted that WhatsApp has been showing ‘Online’ and ‘Last Seen’ on the top chat bar for a long time, which lets users know when their contact is online or last visited the app.
