Islamabad: The data of Chinese nationals living in the federal capital has been compiled and their security has been tightened.
According to police sources, the security of foreigners, especially Chinese citizens, has been tightened. In this regard, the Islamabad Police has been mobilized on the instructions of the Interior Minister. Police has compiled the data of Chinese citizens living in Islamabad.
Islamabad Police has submitted a report to the Interior Minister regarding the Chinese residents. At present, 4 thousand Chinese residents are living in different areas of the federal capital. These include Chinese nationals who are involved in CPEC projects.
According to sources, more than 2500 Chinese citizens are staying in the federal capital for education. Islamabad Police has completed revised security measures for foreigners. Continuous regular security surveillance of CPEC-linked Chinese has been initiated. Chinese citizens are also being monitored with the help of Safe City.
IG Islamabad has given a special task to the Special Branch regarding the security of foreigners, especially Chinese citizens.
