Karachi: Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority has issued orders to encircle the city against those doing illegal constructions.
A circular was issued by SBCA, according to the circular, on the direction of DGSBCA, Sindh Building Control Authority has decided to tighten the perimeter against illegal constructions in the city by setting up complaint cells in all districts. Monitoring instructions have been issued.
Director General Sindh Building Control Authority Abdul Rasheed Solangi issued instructions to all building inspectors, senior building inspectors, assistant directors, and deputy directors and said that the officers should identify any illegal and unauthorized construction activities and take steps to stop them.
In a circular issued by him, he directed that if such activities are found, immediate steps should be taken to stop and demolish them. Moreover, all officers will also be bound to submit an undertaking that any such activities in their respective areas No illegal and unauthorized constructions are being done.
Director General Sindh Building Control Authority Abdul Rasheed Solangi ordered all district directors to monitor illegal construction activities and said that if any unauthorized construction is detected in their areas, the directors will report the responsible officers to SBCA. Mandated to report to DigiSBCA for disciplinary action under the Enforcement and Disciplinary Rules.
