Lahore: The Punjab government has issued orders for the appointment and transfer of 31 senior officers while further shaking up the provincial bureaucracy.

The provincial government appointed Saqib Manan, Member of Inquiries IV S&GAD, Member Judicial VII Board of Revenue, Member Judicial V Chief Settlement Commissioner Board of Revenue, Dr. Farah Masood as Member Inquiries IV S&GAD, Khalid Saleem as Member Judicial V Chief Settlement Commissioner. Board of Revenue has been charged.

Yawar Hussain as Member Planning and Development Board, Director General Directorate of Local Government and Community Development Shifat Ali as Member Planning and Development Board Punjab, Director General Punjab Agriculture Marketing Regulatory Authority Tariq Mehmood as Director General Directorate of Local Government and Community Development, Secretary Local Government and Community Development South Punjab Muhammad Amin Owaisi has been appointed Director General Punjab Agriculture Marketing Regulatory Authority.

The Provincial Government appointed Secretary Communication and Works Department South Punjab Jawad Akram as Managing Director Punjab Health Foundation, Rashid M Khan as Member Judicial VIII Board of Revenue awaiting appointment, Muhammad Farooq Akmal as Additional Secretary IPC, I&C Wing S&G. AD, Syed Mashhad Raza Kazmi has been appointed as Secretary Bab Pakistan Foundation, Senior Instructor PIMPD Toqeer Ahmad as Deputy Secretary Admin MPDD.

Director Civil Defense Shahid Hasan Kayani has been directed to report to S&GAD, Barakullah Khan has been directed to report to Director Civil Defense Punjab, Deputy Director Coordination PMIU Mudassar Arif has been directed to report to S&GAD, Deputy Secretary Home Department, Deputy Secretary Women Development Ubaidullah Zakaria. Additional Secretary PMRU, I&C Wing S&GAD and Additional Secretary Higher Education Tariq Mehmood has been posted as Additional Secretary Governor Secretariat Punjab.

Mrs Sara Rasheed has been appointed Executive Director Lahore Arts Council and Director Lahore Museum Miss Sadia Tahrim has been directed to report to S&GAD, Miss Nabila Irfan has been appointed Director Lahore Museum, Deputy Managing Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation Muhammad Shahid. Directed to report to S&GAD.

The government has appointed Rana Salim Ahmad Khan as Deputy Managing Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation and Amjad Bashir as Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority.

Similarly, Mehboob Ahmed was appointed as Managing Director Punjab Vocational Training Council, Mehr Khalid Ahmed as Member Secretary Board of Revenue South Punjab, Tariq Mehmood Bukhari as Member Planning and Development Board, Imtiaz Ahmed as Chief Section Planning and Development Board, Director Admin Parks and Horticulture Authority. Muhammad Musa Ali has been directed to report to S&GAD.

Deputy Secretary Archives S&GAD Solat Hayat Vito as Director Admin Parks and Horticulture Authority, Director State Municipal Corporation Lahore Muhammad Kamran Afzal as Director Marketing PHA on deputation while Section Officer Archives S&GAD Muhammad Atif as Deputy Secretary Archives. Additional charge of S&GAD has been handed over.

It should be noted that the Punjab government transferred 49 administrative officers yesterday, including 7 Lahore commissioners, 7 deputy commissioners and two administrative secretaries.
