California: If you are facing difficulty in practicing English face to face with someone, then Google Search Labs is going to make it easier for you.
According to a tweet, the company’s new trial feature (Speaking Practice) uses generative AI to help users improve their English speaking skills through conversation exercises.
To access Speaking Practice, users must first enable Search Labs in the Google Search app settings. After turning on the option, users can find speaking practice by clicking on ‘Try an example’.
The feature is currently being tested in Argentina, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico and Venezuela.
This feature was first introduced in October 2023 by Google to practice speaking.
Search Labs is Google’s sandbox for potential new search features. However, this feature may be included in the Google Translate pop-up on Android devices, possibly from or to English.
