Rawalpindi: A video of a highway policeman taking a goat with him from inside the security fence near Fateh Jang has gone viral.

According to the details, the shepherd brought the goats inside the protective fence near Fateh Jang to graze, while a car of the Motorway Police came on the road from which the officer got down and then came inside and took a goat by the ear.

The herdsman termed the incident as a case of theft, while the Motorway Police said that the local people’s cattle and goats were on the inner side of the fence, some on the hard shoulder, which were in danger of coming onto the motorway and there was a possibility of an accident.

According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, the owner was forbidden and asked to take the animal away from there, but he did not take it, so the Motorway Police officer came to the camp office with a goat in custody.

According to the Motorway Police officials, the owner of the goat later reached the camp office and after apologizing and assuring not to do this in the future, asked for a written apology, on which the goat was handed over to him.

Babar Shehzad, the owner of the cattle, said that the shepherd was also present with the goats. The animals accidentally crossed the fence, which the employee tried to remove. However, the personnel of the Motorway Police took the goat into custody for the violation, which will be returned upon referral.
