A security guard was killed by robbers in the site area of Shahr Quaid, after which the number of civilians killed in resistance has reached 67 so far this year.
According to the details, armed robbers shot and killed a security guard who was returning after completing his duty in the limits of Site Super High Police Station.
The police confirmed the incident and said that when the accused tried to rob, the guard pulled out a weapon, on which the accused opened fire and a bullet hit the deceased in the chest.
The deceased was identified as Faisal, whose body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem, while the police started investigation by collecting evidence from the incident.
It should be noted that so far this year, robberies in Karachi have killed around 67 people while hundreds have been injured.
