Peshawar: The legal director of FIA has given a statement in the court that the passport of the member of assembly was blocked on the request of the agency.
The hearing on the petition filed against the blocking of the passport of the Member of the Provincial Assembly Pir Muswar Shah was held in the Peshawar High Court, where the lawyer Alam Khan Adenzai advocate took a position in the court that the petitioner is a member of the Provincial Assembly and his passport has been blocked.
During the hearing, the legal director FIA told the court that his passport has been blocked at the behest of the agency.
Justice Shakeel Ahmed inquired that even if someone asks to block the passport illegally, will you block the passport? If someone’s passport is illegally blocked or their name is included in the stop list, FIA will order action against them. Justice Shakeel Ahmed remarked not to obey anyone’s illegal orders.
Later, the court granted the request of the petitioner member of the provincial assembly and ordered to restore his passport.
