Victims to submit their ownership documents and details of money deposited, Supreme Court
Karachi: The Supreme Court ordered to auction the plot of the demolished Nasla Tower for illegal construction and give money to the victims.
A hearing was held on the petition of the victims of Nasla Tower in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry.
The lawyer for the victims of Nasla Tower said that we are about 40 victims, the owner of Nasla Tower has passed away, we have not been compensated yet, we were supposed to get compensation.
The Supreme Court ordered that there was a rafi plot attached to Nasla Tower due to which it was demolished, the plot of Nasla Tower should be auctioned and money should be given to the victims.
The court issued a notice to the Sindhi Muslim Society and asked them to submit a report on the matter at the next hearing, advertise before selling the plot, the victims should submit their ownership documents and the details of the money they had deposited.
