Karachi: Karachi Municipality has decided to launch an anti-encroachment campaign to restore traffic flow in the city.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab says that in the first phase, anti-encroachment will be conducted in the southern areas for a week, then operations will be carried out in the eastern district and the central district as well.
The weekly anti-encroachment campaign will be launched from South District Sadar, Lighthouse, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, II Chandrigar Road, Exhibition, Empress Market, Kharadar.
Action will be taken against those disrupting the flow of traffic, especially the cabins, carts and goods outside shops on the roads will be cleaned.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab says that the anti-encroachment operation will be supervised by Director Imran Rajput, this campaign will continue in full force.
