The Iranian President appreciates Pakistan's principled stand on the Gaza issue

Lahore: Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi reached Lahore, where he visited Mazar-e-Iqbal. On this occasion, he said that he appreciates Pakistan’s principled stand on the Gaza issue.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz received the visiting Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi at the Allama Iqbal International Airport and welcomed him. Later, the Iranian President came to visit Mazar-e-Iqbal where he wrote down his comments in the guest book.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on this occasion that he wanted to address the public gathering, but due to reasons, it could not be done. He said that I value the sentiments of the people of Pakistan and offer my greetings to the people of Pakistan on behalf of the Iranian Supreme Commander.

President Ibrahim Raisi said that the personality of Allama Iqbal is very important, his inspirational ability taught to stand against false power and colonialism. He said that there is a close relationship between the people of Iran and the people of Pakistan. Appreciate Pakistan’s principled stand on the Gaza issue. Palestine will win the Gaza war.

On the occasion of the arrival of the guest delegation, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Provincial Information Minister Uzma Zahid Bukhari, Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Provincial Minister Secondary Healthcare and Medical Education Khawaja Sulaiman Rafiq, Provincial Minister Food Bilal Yasin, Provincial Minister Industries Chaudhry Shafi Hussain, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Iranian Consul General Mehran Mawahidfar posted in Lahore and others were present on the occasion.

The Iranian President will meet the Chief Minister of Punjab and other officials after visiting the mausoleum of poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal during his visit to Lahore today. He will spend half a day in Lahore and leave for Shahr Quaid Karachi, where preparations under security arrangements and traffic plan have been completed since last night.

The Iranian president will leave tomorrow after meeting Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and other officials in Karachi. On the occasion of the arrival of a high-level Iranian delegation in Lahore and Karachi, a holiday has been declared today in both the cities and public and private institutions including schools, colleges and universities have also been closed.
