Peshawar: The Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to approach the Supreme Court against the order to take oath on certain seats.
The provincial government has decided to go to the Supreme Court on the issue of convening the meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and taking oath on certain seats.
The provincial cabinet has given approval to go to the Supreme Court through the circulation summary. The provincial government has decided that the meeting of Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will not be called until the decision of the Supreme Court.
It should be noted that the Peshawar High Court had ordered the Chief Minister and the Cabinet to convene an assembly meeting within 14 days and directed women and minority candidates to take oath on specific seats.
