Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged the election results of 3 seats in Islamabad on alleged rigging.
PTI challenged the alleged rigging in the three seats of Islamabad in the Election Tribunal in the Islamabad High Court and took the stand that the election results of February 8 were changed and rigged.
The three PTI candidates contesting the elections from Islamabad requested the Election Tribunal to de-notify the MNAs declared successful by the Muslim League-N. PTI independent candidate Aamir Mughal from NA-46 Islamabad, Shoaib Shaheen from NA-47 and Ali Bukhari from NA-48 challenged the election results in the tribunal.
