Tandoor owners say that if the flour has become cheap, then it is not available yet, while electricity, gas and petrol have become expensive, how can they give bread cheap?
On the other hand, the district administration is cracking down on implementing the new prices of bread and naan.
According to DC Lahore Rafia Haider, Assistant Commissioners and Price Control Magistrates checked 296 ovens in which notices were issued to 46 people for violating the newly issued prices.

76 inspections were conducted in Tehsil Raiwand, 65 in Tehsil City, 45 in Tehsil Cantt, 40 in Tehsil Model Town and 70 in Tehsil Shalimar.
Assistant Commissioner Model Town Sahibzada Yusuf arrested 04 people and imposed fines of 70 thousand while Assistant Commissioner Cant Nabil Memon detained 03 people and imposed fines of 90 thousand rupees.
