Karachi: 2 people were injured in Shahr-e-Quaid after a security guard was killed and resisted by robbers.
During the incident in Karachi, the series of killings of citizens by bandits is not stopping. In the latest incident, a security guard was killed in Ishaqabad area of Sharifabad due to the firing of robbers.
According to the police, the robbers were fleeing after looting from ATMs in Liaquatabad Bandhani Colony, when they saw the Rangers, they abandoned their motorcycle and ran away. They escaped. The slain security guard was a father of 2 children and was going to his native Larkana to celebrate Eid with the children.
The deceased’s body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a police mobile, where he was identified as 30-year-old Waheed Baloch. On seeing the Rangers, the guards tried to catch the robbers in Ishaqabad Society, on which the robbers opened fire on him. After the incident, the accused escaped.
Security guard Waheed Baloch was hit by 2 bullets in the chest and neck, while the robbers snatched the motorcycle of a person named Rizwan and escaped.
Meanwhile, 2 people, including the dumper driver, were injured due to the firing of bandits on Malir River and Northern Bypass.
