Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that steps will be taken to prevent unregistered vehicles from coming on the roads.
Provincial Minister for Information, Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Sharjeel Inam Memon chaired an important meeting in Karachi, which discussed the legislation on unregistered vehicles and efforts to control drugs, among other issues.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Excise Department will take steps to prevent unregistered vehicles from coming on the roads. The law will be amended to prevent unregistered vehicles from plying the roads.
Senior provincial minister Sharjeel Inam Memon while issuing instructions to the excise officials said that steps should be taken to prevent drug trade in all circumstances. Those involved in drug trafficking will be dealt with severely. He added that we have to protect the new generation from drugs, awareness programs against drugs are also necessary.
