Islamabad: Secretary Federal Education and Vocational Training Mohiuddin Wani held an important meeting regarding the organization of advanced courses in IT and data science in evening classes for students in degree colleges in collaboration with renowned universities of the country, NIST, NIMAL and COMSATS.

Principals of all degree colleges of Islamabad were present in this meeting. In the meeting, initiatives to conduct courses in game development, AI, data science and blockchain in evening classes were reviewed.

Secretary Federal Education and Vocational Training Muhyiddin Wani said about this revolutionary initiative that 1000 students will be able to benefit from the 6-month courses conducted in evening classes.

He further informed that funds for these courses will be provided by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission.

Federal Education and Vocational Training Secretary Mohiuddin Wani also assured the principals that digital infrastructure in colleges will be developed on modern lines to provide integrated and uninterrupted internet service.

It may be noted that Mohiuddin Wani has recently taken over the post of Secretary Federal Education and Vocational Training. He has a reputation as an able and hardworking officer and has accomplished many achievements in the field of education in Gilgit-Baltistan.
