Islamabad: The order to make dance videos of government school students during the holy month has been revoked.
In the order issued by the Federal Ministry of Education, it was directed to make dance videos of boys and girls in educational institutions and share them on social media. At the behest of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO, the Federal Education Department had issued a notification to hold a dance competition, in which students were asked to dance and share videos on social media.
Parents were expressing serious concern over the issuance of this notification, which is in conflict with Islamic values, but the Ministry of Education canceled the notification of dance education, after which the dance education decree was issued in public schools managed by the Federal System of Education. has been withdrawn.
It should be noted that the UNESCO campaign of making children dance and sharing videos on social media is part of Education in the Year, which aims to promote education through dance among children.
