Islamabad: Election Commission has set the last date of election campaign for by-election.
In the case of by-elections in 21 constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies, the Election Commission has announced the last date of the election campaign.
According to the Election Commission, the candidates should finish campaigning between April 19 and 20 for the by-elections. In case of violation, strict action will be taken against the candidates as per law.
Candidates will be imprisoned for 2 years and fined up to one lakh rupees for campaigning after the expiry of the stipulated time. Polling in 21 constituencies of National and Provincial Assembly is scheduled on April 21.
