The court disposed of the petition ordering the removal of Shireen Mazari’s name from the ECL.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court ordered the removal of the name of former Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari from the ECL.
Justice Thaman Rifat Imtiaz heard the case. Former PTI Shereen Mazari appeared in the Islamabad High Court along with her lawyer.
NAB Prosecutor Rafi Maqsood said that we had recommended removing Shireen Mazari’s name from ECL in March as Shireen Mazari is not an accused in the £190 million NAB case.
The Assistant Attorney General said that we also informed the Prime Minister by writing a letter on March 27. Justice Thaman Rifat Imtiaz remarked that the cabinet has many other tasks, we will do them.
