Case of threatening letters to High Court judges registered in CTD Lahore

Lahore: CTD Lahore registered a case of receiving threatening letters to High Court judges.

A case has been registered against unknown accused under terrorism and intimidation provisions, samples of the letters have been submitted to the forensic lab where investigations are on.

It should be remembered that 4 judges of Lahore High Court also received threatening letters on Wednesday.

These letters have been sent to senior most judges Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan, Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh and Justice Alia Neelam.

Letters were sent to the four judges of the Lahore High Court in the name of Mohid Fazil son of Manzoor Ali Shah.

As soon as the information was received, police officers including CTD team and DIG Operations Nasir Rizvi reached the Lahore High Court and the security of the court was further tightened.
