Islamabad: New instructions have been issued to the police to prevent street crime in the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Police Spokesman, DIG Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari has directed that the SHO will respond to any incident call in a timely manner and the SHO should meet with the victim and send his photograph to the DIG Operations. will

The spokesperson said that all SPs, SDPOs, SHOs should stay in their own areas. Adopt effective strategies to prevent street crime. In this regard, all the officers should also get the help of Safe City cameras.

The spokesperson said that the DIG operations will visit different areas. If officers and officials are found lax in any area, action will be taken against them.
