Approval to lift the ban on recruitment in all departments of Sindh

Islamabad: The Sindh government has approved the lifting of the ban on recruitment in all departments of the province, the Sindh Chief Minister has directed that the ban on recruitment by the courts should also be lifted.

According to Express News, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. Provincial Ministers, Advisors, Chief Secretary, Chairman P&D Najam Shah and concerned secretaries attended. In the meeting, the Sindh Cabinet gave its approval to lift the ban on recruitment in all departments.

Chief Minister Sindh directed the Law Minister and Advocate General to remove the ban on recruitment from courts.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Karachi Water and Sewerage Improvement Project (KWSSIP) has started projects worth 100 million dollars with the support of donor agencies; The KWSSIP project is to improve the infrastructure of the water board, providing clean water.

He said that 40% of the total cost of KWSSIP will be paid by World Bank, 40% by AIIB and 20% by Sindh government.

In the meeting, the Sindh government approved the release of its share of Rs 646.756 million. The Sindh Cabinet also approved Rs 400 million for Larkana University.
