A case has been registered for receiving threatening letters to judges of Islamabad High Court

A case of sending suspicious and threatening letters to judges of Islamabad High Court was registered in CTD police station under terrorism provisions.

A case was registered under the provisions of terrorism in the complaint of Qadeer Ahmed, Duty Clerk/Bailiff of RI Branch of Islamabad High Court in Police Station CTD.

It is written in the text of the FIR that the letters were distributed to all the judges’ staff today, after some time Qamar Khursheed received a call that there was powder in it.

The FIR states that Reshamm and unknown persons tried to influence the cases while the police were immediately informed about the letters.

It should be noted that 8 judges including the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court had received threatening letters filled with powder, after which a heavy police presence reached the court.

According to judicial sources, letters filled with powder were sent to the judges, when two judges’ staff opened the letters, there was powder inside, after opening the letter, the eyes started burning, the affected staff immediately used sanitizer and washed their mouths. Wash your hands.

After receiving the letters, a team of experts from Islamabad Police reached the Islamabad High Court and started examining the powder found inside the letters. Court sources said that there is a threatening sign inside the letter, a woman has sent 8 letters to the High Court judges without writing her address.

These letters have been sent to 8 judges including Chief Justice Amir Farooq.
