An officer of a sensitive institution was injured by robbers in Karachi

Karachi: An officer of a sensitive institution was injured in the firing in Kemari district when he resisted robbery.

According to SHO Site B Hayat Khan, an officer of a sensitive institution was seriously injured in the firing of bandits near Gulbai Bridge within the limits of Site B police station, who was immediately shifted to the hospital.

According to the police, a company commander posted in Saad Sheikh Hub was going to the highway to break his fast via Gulbai when his motorcycle broke down on the way.

According to the SHO, at around 6 o’clock before Iftar, two armed accused on a motorcycle tried to rob Saad Sheikh and on resistance shot three to four bullets and injured him.

SHO Site B Hayat Khan further said that the officer of the sensitive institution had tried to resist the robbers, during which the accused also saw weapons in his possession, on which they fired at Saad Sheikh.

A case of the incident has been registered in 75/24 Site B police station while the CCTV footage of the incident site is being reviewed, police officials say that no progress has been made in identifying or arresting the accused so far.
