Peshawar: According to a report by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), 10 people died and 12 others were injured in the disaster in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the devastating rain and hailstorm.
According to the national news agency ‘APP’, the PDMA report detailed the serious incidents caused by the recent bad weather, which stated that eight children and two women were among the dead, while nine were injured. Includes children, 2 females and a male.
The report said that 3 out of 27 houses were completely destroyed while 24 were partially damaged, 4 people were killed and 3 injured in Shangla, two houses were partially damaged.
According to PDMA, 3 children were killed and one was injured after the house was damaged in Bannu. Casualties were also reported in Bajaur, a woman and a child were killed, two were injured, and 3 houses were partially damaged.
More incidents were recorded in Peshawar where three persons were injured and a house partially damaged. In Nowshera, three people were injured and several houses were partially damaged.
A woman lost her life in Mansehra and three houses were partially damaged while several houses were affected in Momand, Mardan and Waziristan.
