Karachi: Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Saleem Rajput has banned kite flying for 2 months after incidents of injuries from flying strings came to light in the city.

In a statement issued by the Commissioner Karachi, it was said that kite flying has been banned for two months because 8 people have been injured so far due to being hit by kite strings.

On the incidents of citizens getting injured due to kite string movement, he said that this matter can prove to be very dangerous for the citizens.

Commissioner Karachi said that this step had to be taken to secure the precious life of the citizens.

It should be noted that in some cities of Punjab including Lahore, many citizens have died due to being hit by kite strings, after which the Punjab government has taken strict measures and banned flying kites.
