In Lahore, the capital of Punjab, two more people were injured due to the twisting of the metal string of the kite, on which the Chief Minister sought a report from the IG Punjab while taking the loot.
According to Rescue 1122, 28-year-old Adnan and an unidentified motorcyclist in Lahore were injured due to walking on the neck of the kite and were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.
Taking notice of the incident in which two persons were injured due to the visit of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore, he sought a report from IG Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz said that despite the strict orders, there is concern over the incidents of kite flying and stringing, will end the bloody sport of kite flying.
The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies while fulfilling their responsibility and play their role in the eradication of kite flying.
