Lahore: An application was filed in the High Court against Nawaz Sharif’s picture on Kisan card.
Citizen Mishkoor Hussain has challenged the picture of former prime minister and PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the Lahore High Court through the mediation of advocate Nadeem Sarwar.
In the petition filed in the court, it has been said that Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card has been launched on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. Nawaz Sharif is being personally promoted by the national treasury through the card. National exchequer cannot be used for personal promotion under any circumstances.
In the petition, the court has been requested to issue an order to stop the government from using the national treasury to promote Nawaz Sharif. The money spent on advertising Nawaz Sharif through Kisan Card should be recovered from Nawaz Sharif.
