Karachi: Korangi Industrial Area Police arrested the fugitive accused Nadeem involved in the martyrdom of former SHO Gulistan Johar Rahim Khan.
According to SSP Korangi Sajid Saduzai, Korangi Industrial Area Police arrested the fugitive accused involved in the killing of former SHO Rahim Khan during a raid on the causeway and recovered hand grenades and weapons.
The police say that the group of accused snatched the car from Firozabad area on September 25, 2020, after which the accused had a fight with the Firozabad police and the accused escaped from the spot, when they were on Rashid Minhas Road near Ilha Deen Park. When they arrived, they had a fight with the Golestan Johar police and during this, SHO Golestan Johar Rahim Khan was martyred by the firing of the accused.
SSP Korangi says that the arrested accused Nadeem along with his accomplices used to steal new model vehicles from Karachi which they used to transport inside Sindh. The arrested accused was absconding in the case of murder and terrorism, which is being further investigated.
According to SSP Korangi, an accomplice of the accused, Wahid Bakhsh alias Fauji, was killed during an encounter on Shariah Faisal on March 19. He was killed inside.
