Lahore: The accused were arrested after the video of torturing the child with a chain came to light.
On receiving 15 calls, SP Akhlaqullah Tarar issued instructions to SHO Inspector Qamar Abbas for the immediate arrest of the accused and the recovery of the child. The accused were arrested and the 12-year-old child was recovered.
According to police officials, accused shopkeepers Farooq and Adnan have been arrested. In the video, it can be seen that the accused have tied the young child with a chain and are torturing him.
A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the provisions of employing a minor child, keeping them in detention, and torture by chaining them.
