Karachi: In order to control the crimes in the city of Quaid, the police started a vigorous action, within an hour two robbers were killed in the encounter while five others were arrested with injuries.
According to the details, 2 suspects were killed in a police encounter in Gulistan Johar area, while a dacoit was arrested by the police in an injured condition. A policeman was injured in the firing of the accused.
Three suspects on a motorcycle near Nipa Chowrangi were fleeing after looting. Near the AGPR office located in Gulistan Johar Block 10, 4 officers on two motorcycles saw the suspects on the motorcycle and signaled them to stop. But the accused opened fire on the police personnel.
As a result of the firing, police officer Afzal Nisar was injured and the accused tried to escape during that time, but the police retaliated after the chase, as a result of which two dacoits were killed and one was injured.
Initially, the dead and injured could not be identified, while the police took the dead and injured to Jinnah Hospital for regulatory action. According to SHO Gulistan Johar Malik Abro, three pistols, mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the dead and injured. Age is known to be between 25 to 30 years.
Meanwhile, near the Northern Bypass Chalghozi Cut in Manghopir area, the police arrested three accused Dil Sher, Ijaz and Iqar in injured condition and recovered the weapons and looted goods. The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital.
In a police encounter near Gabol Town Sector 16B river in New Karachi area, an accused Abdul Qadir was arrested and weapons were recovered.
