Karachi: Acting on a tip-off, Mochko Police arrested an inter-provincial drug smuggler and foiled the delivery of drugs from Balochistan to Karachi.
The arrested inter-provincial drug smuggler was identified as Faraz son of Haji Hasil. 3 kg 700 grams of ice was recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. According to the police, the recovered drugs were being smuggled from Turbat Balochistan to Karachi.
The arrested accused had reached Karachi by passenger bus from Turbat. The accused was arrested from Lucky Chowrangi Hub River Road while acting on secret information.
During the investigation, the arrested accused has made important disclosures related to the drug mafia, while the details of the important members of the drug mafia have also been obtained from the mobile phone of the accused.
A case under the Anti-Narcotics Act has been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are being carried out.
