British High Commissioner meeting with Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon

Karachi: Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon was met by British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney.

In the important meeting, further strengthening of Pakistan-UK bilateral relations was discussed. On this occasion, the commitment to further increase cooperation in areas of mutual interest and strengthen the partnership between the two countries was also reiterated.

Sharjeel Inam Memon briefed the British High Commission delegation about the performance of the Sindh government. He also briefed the British High Commissioner about the achievements of various departments.

The British High Commissioner acknowledged the efforts of the Sindh government on public welfare projects and also appreciated the dedicated pink bus service for women in the province. He said that pink bus service by Sindh government is a commendable and enviable project.

Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on this occasion that the Sindh government is working on several public welfare projects. Pakistan is currently a very suitable country for investment. Foreign investors come to Pakistan and invest here.

He said that we want foreign investors to invest in Sindh, especially in the transport sector. Sindh Government will provide all possible assistance to foreign investors.

After the meeting, Sharjeel Inam Memon presented the traditional lungi and cap gifts of Sindh culture to the distinguished guests.
