Violence against women for jewelery theft, Chief Minister's show cause notice to Azmi Kardar

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz expressed her anger on the League members Uzma Kardar and Malik Waheed after criticism on social media.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, taking strict notice of Uzmi Kardar’s case of jewelery theft, issued a show cause notice to Uzmi Kardar due to the police violence on female employees of Model Town Club.

Apart from this, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also issued a show cause notice to Legi MPA Malik Waheed for apologizing to the sub-inspector.

In the show cause notice, both Uzma Kardar and Malik Waheed MPs have been directed to explain their cases within a week. According to sources, if the two MPs fail to satisfy the leadership, strict action can be taken against them.

It should be noted that Azma Kardar’s purse containing gold ornaments was stolen from the club while swimming in the swimming pool. The Legi MPA accused the three women of the club of the theft and took action against them from the police.

A day ago, it was revealed that despite their innocence, the police stripped and tortured three women, but the concerned police station officer told the sources that the three women were not found guilty and Legi MPA’s. The husband was taken into confidence and allowed to go home.

Apart from this, a few days ago, MPA Malik Waheed misbehaved with a police officer after being stopped for violating the law and after apologizing publicly, he was transferred.
