Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz met the Sub-Inspector of Punjab Police who was transferred for stopping the MPA’s car with black glasses.
In the meeting held at the Chief Minister House Punjab, Maryam Nawaz expressed her regret over the behavior of the MPA to the trainee sub-inspector Yasir Naseeb and said that I am very ashamed of this incident.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif heard the entire incident from Trainee Sub-Inspector Yasir Naseeb. Sub-Inspector Naseeb said that we were doing routine patrolling in Shadipora area of Baghbanpura and at the same time we saw the black glasses of a vehicle and stopped it and checked it.
A person got down from the car and said, “I am the MPA of this area, why did you check?” . On this, the MPA said that my self-esteem has been hurt by stopping and checking me in my area.
Sub-Inspector Yasaranseeb told the Chief Minister that the MPA demanded a public apology from me.
Maryam Nawaz said to the sub-inspector that Yasir, you have to do your duty in the future, you should not be afraid of anyone, you will never apologize to anyone for fulfilling the responsibility, this is your job and you should do your job well. .
He said that be it MPA, MNA, or Chief Minister, no one is greater than the law.
Maryam Nawaz said that I have given a show cause notice to my MPA.
CCPO was also present in the meeting from whom the Chief Minister inquired about the transfer of Trainee Sub-Inspector Yasir Naseeb.
The Chief Minister said that if there is any such incident, do not take any action without asking me. He said that if the MPA had a complaint, he should have come to me. Not yet.
Chief Minister Punjab said that we all should respect the law more to become an example for others.
