Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to provide free Wi-Fi facility in public parks of Peshawar.
According to the details, while presiding over the meeting regarding the renovation and beautification of Peshawar, the Chief Minister directed that free Wi-Fi facility should be provided in all the public parks of Peshawar.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to finalize all matters in this regard and submit them for approval and said that in the next phase this facility will be started in other cities of the province.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister has decided to start the BR service on Nasir Bagh Road soon for the convenience of the citizens and has also directed to take immediate steps.
The Chief Minister directed the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) to prepare a detailed plan for the beautification of the city and said that measures should be proposed for the beautification of the city which are sustainable, along the roads. Artificial plants and flowers should be installed on the poles by installing beautiful pots.
He said that calligraphy and carvings highlighting the culture of the province should be engraved on the head bridges and buildings and private companies should be hired for this purpose.
The Chief Minister said that work should be done on shifting the street lights to solar energy in Peshawar, where necessary and underpasses should be constructed instead of head bridges. should be done while the road rehabilitation work should be started along the BRT corridor to reduce the traffic congestion on the University Road.
