Peshawar: A scuffle broke out between officials of two government agencies at Torkham Nadra Point, during which several officials from both sides were injured.

According to sources, FC and FIA clashed twice in Torkham Immigration Section. Among the injured are 13 FIA officials. A number of injured FIA personnel were shifted to Lindi Kotal Hospital and provided medical aid.

The FIA immigration staff closed the offices in protest, which led to the closure of the border crossing at Nadra Point for foot traffic, which trapped hundreds of people going to Afghanistan, but the border was opened several hours later.

According to the FIA, the officials of the government agency FC were continuously interfering with the immigration authorities for several days, the FI officials refused to interfere, but a fight broke out when the FC did not stop. According to the officials, the continuous interference of the FC staff in the immigration section is beyond authority.

Frontier Corps, on the other hand, says that checking travel documents at Torkham zero point and border security is the prerogative of FC officials.
