According to the police, after committing the murder along with her friend, the body parts were kept in the refrigerator for a few days and then dumped in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, 150 km from Guwahati.

According to media reports, the woman first killed her husband and mother-in-law in Nanmati area near Guwahati and then cut the body into pieces and hid it in a refrigerator.

According to the police, Vandana Kalithaka, despite being married, was in a relationship with another man. After the murder, she and her friend took the body parts 150 km away from Guwahati.

Talking to the media, the police officer said that Vandanakalitha and his friend threw away the body parts of the two bodies, which were recovered by the police.

The police officer added that Kalita took the police to Meghalaya where they dumped the two bodies.

Before this incident in Assam, the news of a girl being killed by her boyfriend in Delhi last year and her body parts being kept in a refrigerator has come to light.

Recently another woman Niki Yadav’s body was also kept in the fridge of the restaurant by her partner after the murder.
